It's the light
People with charisma create atmosphere and nothing can compete with that. But well-placed light sources with the right strengths and shades of light can be a great help. Just notice how in fiction on TV there is always a table lamp or other light source somewhere that creates a warm image. But light in itself can also be an eye catcher. Functional light, mood light and artificial light… That requires some explanation
“Like cushions in the seat or a color against the wall, light is an easy way to create atmosphere. We have tons of brands and tons of styles to choose from. Organic, round, irregular shapes are doing particularly well at the moment. The trend colors for the luminaires are currently gold – indeed, still – and black,” says co-manager Cindy Gerets of Merode Interieur.
