30 years of Merode Interieur

30 years of Merode Interieur

And we would like to celebrate that with you during our open days.

On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April 2025 from 1 pm to 6 pm.

Some facts about the origins of Merode Interieur...

In 1968, Guido & Evaline Rogiers opened a do-it-yourself store in Neerharen (Lanaken) called "Huis Rogiers". This business became "Diversa" a few years later and the range was supplemented with home furnishings, decoration and later also seat upholstery.

In search of a new location, Guido and Evaline bought the castle farm of Pietersheim Castle from the princely De Merode family. Evaline didn't like that at first, but Guido turned the ruin into a beautiful showroom for beautiful fabrics. And let passion for beautiful fabrics be the common thread in both the story of the De Merode family and the Rogiers family.

The choice of the name "Merode Interieur" was obvious and on April 7, 1995, this new business opened its doors for the first time. Together with his son Harald, Guido managed to inspire many people and numerous interiors were transformed into special places where rich fabrics and warm atmospheres meet.

Meanwhile, 30 years later, Merode Interieur still guarantees a top-notch finish for your interior under the passionate leadership of Harald Rogiers.

And we like to toast to that!
